There weren't any goats grazing by the roadside downtown, but inside 1300 Wyoming St., the feathers were flying nonstop during the long-anticipated opening of GoatFeathers, Sept. 2.
The emporium is Boulder City's newest major retail store and tourist magnet, where sales kept up a feverish pace on its first day as locals and out-of-towners crammed the building that's loaded, literally, to the rafters with antiques, collectibles, crafts, wall hangings and memorabilia of all sorts.
