A FAMILY FISHING ADVENTURE

They don't get to share daily experiences, but children separated by foster care did get to share a full day of fun with each other on Oct. 14, when dozens of siblings in different foster care homes were brought together at the Child Focus Fishing Tournament, held on the dock of Captain's Cove Restaurant in The Lakes.

Besides the restaurant and Child Focus, sponsors included Venture295LLC, photographer Sean August Cirrito and Bass Pro Shops.

Pilates and fitness facility opens on West Charleston

Stay younger longer. Feel younger longer. Those are the goals of Rapid Rehab, originally established in Brentwood, Calif., and now branching out to the Summerlin area. It's located at 8751 W. Charleston Blvd., Suite 270.

Kevyn Wynn, daughter of casino mogul Steve Wynn, divides her time between Las Vegas and Santa Monica and is a client at the Brentwood facility. She proposed a business deal to bring the studio to Las Vegas. Wynn was going to be involved as a partner until she learned that she was pregnant with twins and opted out. Her baby boys now are 6 months old.
