Water floods streets
Pipe break highlights utility map issues

A Sept. 21 water line break outside the Bureau of Reclamation's Date Street Complex involving a pipe that supposedly had been abandoned and didn't appear on city utility maps gushed for nearly two hours that afternoon, sending out 200,000 gallons of potable water and issuing a warning call that more of these unknown lines may still exist in this once government-built town.
