Up against more than 2,700 wrestlers from 37 states, the Rattlesnake Wrestling Club took a bite out of the competition at the prestigious Cliff Keen Reno World Championships held March 31-April 2 at the Reno Livestock Center, winning the 15-and-under age group.
The members of the 15-and-under team, who represent a portion of the 60 children ages 8-18 that make up the entire club, took the title by edging out second-place finisher and defending champs Team Toofer from Palos Park, Ill., 34-32.
