Life after a stroke
Stroke survivor gets aid from Sunrise Hospital

Irene Tolbert of Sun City was only gone a little while that day in October, maybe an hour. But in that time, her husband, Bob, 83, suffered an ischemic stroke.

"He couldn't get up," she said. "This was a man who walked two or three miles a day, didn't smoke, didn't drink and had no family history of stroke, but there he was, on the floor."

King of Rock 'n' Roll not forgotten in Sin City
Elvis Presley fanatics keep his spirit alive

It seems that all Las Vegas roads ultimately lead back to Elvis -- the King of Rock 'n' Roll, and the entertainer many credit for making Las Vegas the Entertainment Capital of the World.

"Historically, he put Las Vegas on the map in the seventies," said Steve Connolly, who portrays Elvis in his show "Spirit of the King" at the Fitzgeralds downtown. "He filled the rooms. He was a vital dude."
