Scott Christensen, who will graduate from Cimarron Memorial High School this year, has been named November student of the month by the Summerlin Lions Club.
Scott is a member of the National Honor Society, was nominated for Wendy's High School Heisman Award, is a boy's state delegate and is the senior class vice president.
Scott has received the Eagle Scout Award, is active in his church's youth group, plays varsity soccer and volleyball, and takes piano lessons in his spare time.
He will attend Brigham Young University in the fall for one year and then serve a two-year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. When he returns, he plans to graduate with a degree in accounting.
Scott is the son of Blair and Dianne Christensen of Las Vegas.
