The Stratosphere recently completed a remodeling project of the Top of the World Lounge, now called Romance at Top of the World.
The new lounge features elegant dècor, bottle service, upscale drinks and views of Las Vegas.
The Top of the World Lounge was completely remodeled with all areas, including the bar, designed to maximize the views.
The bar now features a glass top illuminated with fiber optics.
There are 12 VIP sections that face either the Strip or surrounding areas.
Each section contains luxury couches enclosed for privacy or bottle service that can be reserved for any occasion.
Romance at Top of the World is located on Level 107 of the Stratosphere Tower, one floor above the Top of the World Restaurant. Romance is open from 4 p.m. until 2 a.m. daily.
The Stratosphere also recently opened Naga Sushi & Asian Bistro in the site formerly occupied by Hamada Asian Village. The contemporary restaurant features a diverse menu of Asian cuisine. Naga is open from 5 p.m. until 1 a.m. daily.
LECTURE
Author to read from latest work
Writer, editor and St. Louis University professor Richard Burgin will present "The Identity Club, New Stories and Music" at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in the Barrick Museum Auditorium on UNLV's campus.
Burgin's latest book, "The Identity Club," was published with an accompanying CD of his musical compositions. Burgin will read from the book and present selections of music.

Shoe designer to address forum
The Nevada Association of Fashion Design, in conjunction with UNLV Educational Outreach, will present renowned New York shoe designer Faryl Robin and her team to address students of the fashion design certificate program.
The presentation is scheduled for 6 to 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday at the Paradise campus at Tropicana Avenue and Swenson Street.
The event is free and open to the public. Participants must be ages 16 and up.

Series to explore conflict management
Geoffrey K. Leigh, Ph.D., Cooperative Extension Service, will lead a series of sessions called Conscious Relationships I from 6 to 8:30 p.m today, Feb. 8, Feb. 15, March 1 and March 8 at the Cambridge Community Center, Room 107, 3900 Cambridge St., located north of Flamingo Road off of Maryland Parkway.
