Note-taking classes
School teaches 457 students the art of the instrument

Fred Green started playing drums in a marching band in the seventh grade. Today he runs two music schools in northwest Las Vegas.

The Northwest Music Academy opened last May at 7830 W. Ann Road, Suite 210, and his first school, Brill Music Academy at 8534 Del Webb Blvd., opened three years ago.

Studio soothes the autistic soul
Threshold Dance Theater caters to those who are 'differently abled'

Upon entering the Threshold Dance Theater one can sense that something is different.

It may be because there are no mirrors covering the walls of the studio, it may be because the theater is a nonprofit organization, or it may because the founders were recently nursing two baby hummingbirds that fell out of a nest in their yard.
