Business Bank of Nevada has appointed three new vice presidents to work in a number of areas around the business, bank senior vice president Paul Stowell announced recently.
The new executives are Lisa Robinson, senior vice president and business development officer; Merri Raymond, commercial real estate loan officer; and Lynne Lynch, credit administration officer.
Robinson comes to the bank from Nevada First Bank, where she spent five years as senior vice president responsible for business development and cash/treasury management services. She also worked as a vice president with Bank of America.
She completed the Berkeley Cash Management Program at the Haas School of Business, University of California at Berkeley. She is involved with United Way and Big Brothers/Big Sisters.
Raymond rejoins Business Bank of Nevada from First National Bank of Nevada, where she was vice president and commercial real estate officer.
Prior to her leaving Business Bank last year, she served as a vice president and commercial real estate loan officer for about 18 months.
She also has worked for Wells Fargo Bank as a vice president and Western Mortgage Loan Corp. as a loan officer. She attended UNLV and is a graduate of Ricks College in Rexburg, Idaho. She is active with the Southern Nevada Homebuilders Association.
Lynch spent five years as a vice president and risk management officer with Nevada First Bank before coming to Business Bank.
She also spent 25 years with Bank of America in a variety of positions.
A graduate of California State University at San Jose, she has a bachelor's degree in finance and has gained a number of certificates from various professional training organizations.
"We are very pleased to hire these qualified individuals to fill much needed positions at our growing bank," said John Guedry, president and chief executive officer of Business Bank of Nevada. "With recent announcements of several bank acquisitions, we're taking advantage of a number of opportunities to attract and hire very seasoned bankers who can help us become the premier business bank in Nevada."
The bank has three offices in Las Vegas and one in North Las Vegas, said Stowell. The institution is one of the fastest-growing banks in the state. Guedry said more hirings are likely as the bank continues with its growth plans, which include possible branches in Green Valley and southwest Las Vegas.
