CCSN to celebrate 35-year milestone
CCSN will be celebrating its 35th anniversary during the Legacy of Achievement event at 6 p.m. on April 29 inside the Palace Ballroom
at Caesars Palace.
The event, to be hosted by the CCSN Foundation Inc., will feature a champagne reception, gourmet dinner, auction prizes, musical entertainment and a special program.
Tickets are $250 per person and can be purchased through the CCSN Foundation by calling 651-7301 or 651-7924. The proceeds will benefit the college's academic programs and student scholarships.

Easter Seals to host 5K run and 1-mile hop
Easter Seals Southern Nevada has scheduled a 5K run and 1-mile Bunny Hop and Easter Egg Hunt for 8 a.m. on Saturday at the Desert Breeze Recreation Center, 8275 Spring Mountain Road.
Proceeds from the event will go to the Easter Seals to provide services to aid children and adults with special needs to help them lead more independent lives.
Registration for the event is $25 and sponsorships still are available. Easter Seals is planning to make the hunt an annual event.
A number of parks and recreation centers have scheduled Easter egg hunts for Saturday.
The events are scheduled for: 9 to 11 a.m. at Coleman Park on Carmen Boulevard, west of Jones Boulevard, reachable by phone at 229-5085; 10 a.m. at Robison Community School, 4794 Harris Ave., reachable at 229-2542; 10 a.m. at Ed Fountain Park, Vegas Drive at Decatur Boulevard, 229-5096; 10 a.m. at Veterans Memorial Leisure Services Center, 101 N. Southern Hills Hospital to host Baby Fair
Southern Hills Hospital and Medical Center will host its second annual Baby Fair from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on April 29 at the hospital, 9300 W. Sunset Road, near the Las Vegas Beltway.
The fair is free and open to the public. Attendees will enjoy free gifts, information on newborn care, educational sessions from medical experts, car seat safety checks and raffle prizes. Participants also will have the opportunity to win the grand prize, consisting of 2,000 diapers or a full nursery furniture set.
Immunizations will be available for $15 per child with the presentation of records. For more information, call 880-2700.

Nickel City Players present 'Lost in Time'
The musical "Lost in Time" is being presented by the Nickel City Players at 7:30 p.m. every Friday and Saturday through April 29 at the Old Las Vegas Mormon Fort, 500 E. Washington Ave.
The play is about a journey through time, suitable for the entire family. It is hosted by the Nevada's Division of State Parks.
Tickets are $3 for adults, $2 for children ages 6-12, and free for children under 5.
