George Washington, Harriet Tubman, Pocahontas and Daniel Boone were some of the personalities present in Martha Mitchell's first-grade class at Lake Mead Christian Academy on Feb. 17.
Students from grades K-6, normally dressed in less eye-catching garments, donned wigs, bonnets, moccasins and velvet vests in celebration of the school's 11th annual Famous American Day.
