When Pennsylvania-based Quality Corrections & Inspections decided in 2003 to expand its merchandise inspection and repair company to be closer to West Coast ports, the family-run business chose Henderson as its new home.

Similarly, a few years prior, the national physicians billing company Lexon Medical took advantage of the city's proximity to local freeways and also set up shop in Henderson, a move more than 80 companies have made since 1999.
