Chris Eichholz, a graduate of Bonanza High School and student at the University of California, Davis, was named to the Division II All-American water polo first team. The junior driver tied for the team lead with 48 goals and also was named a member of the All-Western Water Polo Association's first team. UCD lost to Redlands in the quarterfinals of the WWPA Championships.

Cheer Nation's all-star program is accepting boys and girls in first through fifth grades. Practices are held Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at 6265 S. Valley View Rd. Call 498-5723 for more information.
