Barriers drawn away

Nancy Baylor-Taylor's classroom looks like any other high school art classroom. But for a few days a week, the class goes from ordinary to extraordinary.

Baylor-Taylor and special education teacher Carolynn Manning began integrating their classes in August. Students with severe to profound mental and physical challenges come together with "regular ed (education)" students at Durango High School for a different kind of learning.
