CLARK COUNTY READS: Out with the old

When Karen Egger took on the duties of school librarian at Wasden Elementary School last fall, she discovered just how far behind the school's collection was.

"The very first book I pulled off the shelf was a 1929 copy of 'Peter Pan,' " she said. "I thought, 'I have my work cut out for me.' "
