Vo-Tech student takes top prize in Art Institute of Las Vegas event

Dave Manaog, 18, recently proved that not only can he stand the heat, but he's heading for a successful career in the kitchen. Manaog won the gold medal in the Art Institute of Las Vegas' Best Teen Chef Competition.
A senior at the Southern Nevada Vocational Technical Center, he said it was the spirit of competition that inspired him to sign up for the competition just two days before the deadline.
