First Friday turns 2

Downtown Las Vegas's First Friday will celebrate its second birthday from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday.

Featured will be San Jose, Calif., musical groups Life With Jonas, Delta Activity and Day One Symphony; poets Mike McGee and Paradox; and dancer Tiffany Glen performing on the main stage at Colorado Avenue between Third and Main streets.

A new exhibit called Our Daily Bread: edible routine, habit and ritual also will open at the Contemporary Arts Collective inside the Arts Factory. The exhibit will feature works by five artists.
