Centennial High presents musical

The Centennial High School theater department will present a "Bulldogs go Broadway" musical at 6:30 p.m. tomorrow and Friday.

The production features songs from several Broadway musicals. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the school's theater prior to the show.

Proceeds will benefit the Broadway Cares/Equity Fights Aids organization.

EDUCATION

Students to get law instruction

Students at Canyon Springs High School in North Las Vegas now have the opportunity to learn about Nevada law from those who know it best: local lawyers and judges.

The State Bar of Nevada's Center for Law Related Education has opened an office at the school. Canyon Springs houses a Leadership and Law Preparatory Academy magnet program for Clark County School District students who hope to pursue law-related careers. Volunteers from the local legal community will serve as guest speakers and mentors for students.
