MONEY FOR PARKS: Expansive environment

Early last month Secretary of the Interior Gale Norton announced her approval of $493 million for Nevada parks, trails and environmentally sensitive land, including more than $48 million earmarked for Henderson, unexpected news for the city's Parks and Recreation Department.
