DESERT PINES HIGH SCHOOL: Mariachi program gets financial help
As Sam's Club benefits coordinator Marilyn Rinaldi watched the mariachi ensemble from Desert Pines perform at its annual neighborhood heroes fund-raiser, she noticed a group of students following close behind. When she realized the youth were members of the mariachi band who couldn't perform because of an instrument shortage, she decided Sam's Club was going to change that.
