The collaboration will allow the bank to promote economic development and job creation throughout the state by providing funding that would otherwise be unavailable.

CONTRACTING

AGC partners with FIATECH

The Associated General Contractors of America recently announced a partnership with FIATECH to begin the process of developing the AGC Extensible Mark-up Language standards to address inoperability in the construction industry.

Operability is the ability of software products and tools to exchange information in a manner that is recognizable between authors. Currently there is no operability available between software applications for construction management documents.

The solution to this information exchange program is being addressed through AGC's partnership with FIATECH, a nonprofit consortium that focuses on fast-track development and deployment of technologies to improve substantially how capital projects and facilities are designed, engineered, constructed and maintained.
