HEALTH

Central Christian Church to host fair

Central Christian Church, 1001 New Beginning Drive, just off Russell Road and U.S. 95, is set to host a health fair from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday.

The event will offer free blood pressure checks, children's vision screenings, hearing screenings and podiatry screenings. Health professionals will be on hand to cover topics such as arthritis, cardiovascular health, chiropractic and holistic health, fitness consulting, mind and body techniques and women's health.

There will also be a blood drive event at the fair, from 9 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. Those that wish to donate should make an appointment.

Women Marines to hold luncheon

The Nevada Sagebrush Chapter of the Women Marines Association, a nonprofit organization, has scheduled a meeting and luncheon at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Tenaya Creek restaurant, 3101 N. Tenaya Way. All former and active duty Women Marines are invited to attend.

JCC hosts a night out

The Jewish Community Center is scheduled to host a Dining Out Club social event at 6:30 p.m. June 2. Participants must be a JCC member and a member of JCC Connections in order to attend.
