Mommy & Me West, a playgroup headquartered in the northwest part of town, held its third Maypole event at Pueblo Park, May 1. Boys were instructed to grab a ribbon and go around in one direction, the girls in the other. "Basically the kids run amok and the moms crack up watching them," said host mommy Valery Godino. The playgroup she spearheaded now numbers more than 500 families. Mommy and Me West can be reached at 307-6667.
