Law enforcement personnel from police departments and agencies all over the county drove to Elizondo Elementary School to honor the school's namesake, a North Las Vegas policeman who was killed in the line of duty on Jan. 30, 1995.

MEMORIAL DAY: Lost but not forgotten
Hundreds of Elizondo Elementary students, most of them dressed in school colors turquoise and white, gathered on their playground March 11 to honor the school's namesake, fallen North Las Vegas Police Officer Raul Elizondo.
