MIXED-USE DEVELOPMENT: Planning a new look
There's nothing unusual about a mixture of residential, commercial and office uses in metropolitan cities such as New York, Chicago or Boston. In those cities it's common to work a handful of blocks from one's home. It's a matter of fact occurrence for urban citizens to walk to work or shopping, perhaps located on the bottom floor of one's apartment building.
