Steamy summer temps bring down golf course fees

While temperatures rise in Southern Nevada, greens fees drop at virtually all local golf courses throughout the summer months. Golfers who can handle the heat can play top tracks for a fraction of the prices charged the rest of the year.

Predictably, the rates are highest in the early morning and on the weekends, and cheapest in the afternoon and on the weekdays. Most summer rates run through the end of August.

The greens fees for Clark County residents and visitors for most courses east of Interstate 15 and in Henderson are as follows:
