Southwest Title Co. has appointed Pamela R. Wilson to the position of commercial account executive.

Business Bank of Nevada has hired John D'Acunto as vice president and business development officer in the sales department.

MGM Mirage's employee-funded philanthropic Voice Foundation is donating a history-making $2.5 million to more than 375 community organizations in southern Nevada as part of its 2003-04 giving campaign. Benefiting agencies include Classroom on Wheels, Nevada Association of Latin Americans and Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada.

On Dec. 18, Las Vegas firefighters at Fire Station 42. received a donation of 100 bicycles from SuperPawn. The bikes were used as part of the firefighters' annual drive for children's holiday gifts.

ORGANIZATION

Nevada Drafters Association formed

Nevada Drafters Association Inc., a nonprofit organization, has been organized for those individuals in the drafting profession. The association is for architectural drafters both self-employed and those employed by companies.

The goals and purposes are to raise and maintain a high quality of drafting, secure respect and improved recognition for those in various drafting fields, act as a dissemination point for information concerning activities, and be a legislative watchdog and advocate for the advancement of the profession of drafting.

Sunrise Hospital chooses Beryl Companies

The Beryl Companies, a health care-exclusive customer interaction center, was recently selected by Sunrise Hospital & Medical Center and Sunrise Children's Hospital to manage the physician referral and class registration services. Sunrise, a 701-bed hospital, is the flagship HCA hospital in Las Vegas.
