DP Foundation makes annual contributions
Private industrial real estate developer DP Partners is helping improve the quality of life in communities nationwide through its foundation's annual financial contributions to the arts, education and family organizations. DP Foundation is presenting funds to more than 55 nonprofit organizations in Reno and Las Vegas.
The foundation was created in 1988 as an employee-directed foundation allocating funds to as many organizations as possible. Its Las Vegas area contributions include: Catholic Charities Meals on Wheels, Girls and Boys Town of Nevada, Lied Discovery Children's Museum, Olive Crest Treatment Centers, Opportunity Village, Ronald McDonald House Charities and the UNLV Foundation.

Community One Federal Credit Union has become an equity owner in Business Partners, LLC, a turn key, member business lending Credit Union Service Organization (CUSO) specializing in the areas of business real estate and small business lending.

ARCHITECTURE
State board issues new licenses
Six new certificates of registration were issued at the December board meeting of the Nevada State Board of Architecture, Interior Design and Residential Design.
Of the new registrants, two are architects (Timothy Neal and Daryl Walter), one is a registered interior designer (June Hartnett), and three are residential designers (Patrick Clark, Matthew Dyka and Donald Smit).
