Cities to take applications for firefighter jobs

The cities of Las Vegas and North Las Vegas will be accepting applications for firefighter training from Dec. 1-31.

Recruitment involves a written exam that is scheduled for Jan. 8 and a physical exam set for mid-March.

Several community information seminars are scheduled through August. Seminars are set from 10 a.m. to noon on May 31 at the North Las Vegas Library meeting room and June 11 at the West Las Vegas Library Theater.
