LAS VEGAS WASH: Signs of restoration
On an already warm June morning, a small gray bird alights near an expanse of young vegetation still staked to the ground after a recent planting at the Pabco Weir in the Las Vegas Wash. Dragonflies and small bugs buzz through the air as a gentle breeze tickles the tops of a group of cattails growing on a sandbar.
